In 2016 alone, there were over 38,000 gun related killings in the United States(Center for Injury Research and Prevention). As the controversy grows, certain guns are in a spotlight like the AR-15 and several pistols that are said to be more deadly than others. There are several effects of gun laws being made established or not established. A plethora of people blame guns for school shootings or mass murders made by guns. This brings up the debate about stricter gun laws and legislation. Gun laws would affect the rate of crime, home security, and national security.
